Company Delivers Race-Proven Design to Popular New Mini Dirt Trucks

Santee, Calif., March 3, 2008 – MasterCraft, an industry leader in performance seats and safety related accessories, has launched the 1G, a new seat for Trophy Kart applications. The new 1G seat, featuring MasterCraft’s exclusive, race-proven internal suspension design, delivers strength, safety and comfort to the popular half-scale, high-performance race trucks.

Available now through leading nationwide off-road and 4WD retailers, the new MasterCraft seats utilize a two-part internal suspension system that includes two Pirelli rubber straps and one-piece mesh suspension liner that provides added support and comfort. The MasterCraft 1G seats, ideal for high-speed short-course racing, include five-point seatbelt slots for safety and a deep-sided race configuration for optimal lateral support.

Utilizing a ¾-in. mild steel frame, the 1G seat features high-strength tubing throughout for evenly disbursed mounting. (Competing seats commonly feature small, corner-welded tabs.) Each 1G seat’s internal components include heavier density fire-retardant foam wrapped around all edges to protect the cover and provide added comfort. Sewn with smaller, more dense stitching than competing seat designs, the MasterCraft 1G seat can be finished in several premium materials.
